Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Plan and prepare for rig lease operations
   • Access, interpret and apply Carry out rig lease operations documentation and ensure the work activity is compliant
   • Obtain, read, interpret, clarify and confirm work requirements
   • Identify, address and report potential hazards, risks and environmental issues and implement control measures
   • Select and wear personal protective equipment appropriate to the work activities
   • Adhere to coordination requirements with others at the site prior to, during and on completion of work activities and ensure briefings/handover details are communicated
   • Place and tier tubulures in appropriate racks
   • Measure, label and record tubulures
   • Operate front end loader in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications
2. Operate pneumatic and electric power tools
   • Operate pneumatic and electric power tools
   • Identify faults with equipment and repair or report to relevant personnel
3. Assist drill crew in running and recovery of BOP stack
   • Assist operator of air tugger winches as directed
   • Assist in positioning blow out prevention BOP
   • Assist crew by supplying tools to the drill floor as required
4. Provide labour for loading and unloading transport
   • Use approved safety approach
   • Use correct lifting techniques and operate forklift
5. Provide labour for making up drilling mud
   • Access and interpret safety data sheet
   • Lift sack material correctly
   • Use safety equipment correctly in event of personal contact with hazardous materials
